Great holliday place in Zakynthos

Just had a lovely week here with family. Great location, close to restaurants and shops ( 10 mins walk) And a short distance to the beach ( 10 min walk) We ate at some lovely restaurants and would recommend Asteria Taverna and Fishalida, both on the beach so a lovely breeze whilst enjoying your evening meal ( it was extremely hot whilst we were there). The hotel is lovely and clean. Staff are great, very hard working and accommodating. Great pool ( goes from shallow to very deep) and a kids pool and Jacuzzi. We only saw entertainment on one night so I would advise that they alter that if

Couple retreat after kids return to school

We visited the Koukounaria 21 - 28th September 2024 as a couple. We had room S13 which was ground floor by the hotel entrance. The hotel was vey clean, quiet and pleasant. We found the room to be spacious and very well cleaned daily. The hotel staff were pleasant and very accommodating. On arrival we had to pay (in Euro's cash) a tax of E 49 equating to E7 per night. Why the UK do not do this ! We went for B&B option as we wanted to taste the local cuisine and believe we made the right choice. The breakfast at the hotel was served until 10:30 and was lovely and plentiful in its choice. T

Nice hotel, awful service

The hotel In August 2024, my family and I spent five days at this hotel on a half-board basis. The hotel is at a prime location close to the beach. The pool is enormous with a great view. Our room was a little disappointed as they used the seating area as 2nd room for the kids. The sofa was turned into a bed, and another portable single bed was added. The best part In my opinion, the breakfast, which had a large selection of foods and desserts, was the best part of the hotel.
