Beautiful property but......

This is obviously my own personal observations and thoughts: Viva V is a beautiful resort on a wonderful stretch of beach where you can walk either direction for hours and a lovely 25 minute (bus) drive from Samana (AZS) Airport (a still quaint and small airport). The layout of the resort is easy to navigate and the low rise buildings have rooms that are clean with comfortable bed and clean, decent bedsheets. The rooms that have the pools, these pools are very rarely used and they are really cold. Bungalow area (across the drive from main building) are nestled nicely in gardens with a sma

Great Holiday!

We had a great time at Viva V Samana! The beach was amazing, the resort is beautiful, and the entertainment team and the activities were great! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful walks along stunning beach! Will be back!

We are 2 couples (seniors) who have been to this resort 4 times. We are travelling from Toronto Ontario. We’ve stayed in regular rooms and bungalow. The advantage of bungalows is quieter in evenings if that’s what you’re looking for. The rooms are very clean and well stocked. They have a water filtration system with refill stations throughout resort as they move to reduce plastic. Definitely commend them for that and found the refills hassle free. Read some recent reviews where people said they got quite ill. None of us had that experience and we heard of no one ill during our stay. If

Cigarettes.

Just a brief note while we are still here at the resort as repeat customers. The cigarette smoke is unbearable and at times comes through the A.C in our room. Even with the the effort of signage which is rather small and poorly enforced- it must be noted that cigarette smokers aren't considerate or intelligent enough to read or obey rules. People smoke at the beach, dining hall, and at sitting areas. This is discouraging for hygienic people with clean habits. This is not a poor review toward the hotel rather a health concern.
